Vegetarian Ramen
Rudy recommended the vegetarian ramen as I don't eat pork and it surpassed my expectations! I would definitely order again. High quality ramen and cozy ambiance.
Tonkotsu
My husband and I are so lucky to have Rudy's right down the street! The tonkotsu is rich and delicious, I also like the lite option. We got to chat with Rudy when we sat at the bar and it's clear that every dish is made with such care. Definitely recommend!
Spicy Miso
Truly great bowl of ramen! Noodle texture was soft but springy, veggies were cooked wel but not mushy. Flavourful broth with great heat levels. Loved the nice touch with the torch on the pork. My second piece of pork was pretty fatty and challenging to get a good bite out of it, but otherwise well above your average ramen in Chicago. Brought me back to a few bowls I had in Osaka. Thanks for the delicious meal and keep up the good work because I'll be back!
Sweet Chili Tofu Bun
The ramen at Rudy's is fantastic, but the tofu bun was my favorite. I generally don't like tofu, but this was so sweet and crispy, on a deliciously soft, moist bun.
